Preparing the mower for transport over public roadways
Road safety and current traffic laws demand that during transport the mower be equipped with
the following items:
portable light unit consisting of a panel installed in the socket of the upper guard (not included
with the mower). The panel consists of a safety sign with a rear light (positional light, stop light
and direction of travel) as well as a red reflector - oriented to the rear and a white reflector
oriented to the front,
ATTENTION:
If the purchaser of the mower does not own the safety equipment
mentioned above it can be purchased from the mower's manufacturer.
a sign designating slow moving vehicles (part of standard tractor equipment) should be moved
from the tractor to the receptacle on the cover of the mower's belt drive.
5.4.
Connecting the articulated telescopic shaft (PTO)
The cover should be secured so that it does not spin by securing the holding chains to
a permanent part of the body of the tractor and the loop on the guard of the splined shaft of
the mower drive shaft.
ATTENTION:
If necessary, reduce the length of the shaft according to its user's
manual.
WARNING:
Operate machinery only with the articulated telescopic shafts
designated for use with that machinery. Before starting work check if
all the covers (tractor, machinery and shaft) are in place and
functioning. Damage or lost elements must be replaced with original
spares. Check weather the articulated telescopic shaft is properly
installed. Never get close to rotating parts it could result in injury or
death. During servicing of the shaft or the machine the engine and
the power take-off of the tractor must be turned off. Before operating
any machinery carefully read the operating manuals of the shaft and
the machine.

Changing the mower position from transport into operating position
open the cut-off valve located on the actuator (Pic. 10a),
remove the safety pin,
lower the mower on the lifting arms of the tractor so that the bolts of the suspension frame are
approximately 50 cm above ground (Pic. 11),
make sure that the space where the mower will be opened is unobstructed and free of people,
using the lever of the external hydraulic system of the tractor lower the cutting unit so that as it
gets closer to the ground it slows down,
