OPERATOR’S MANUAL
SNOW PLOW
ALPS / OLIMP
depicts regulation of blade’s inclination mechanism’s gap’s width
Ø
. Screwing
the
regulation bolt will cause moving the mechanism’s rollers downwards. The width of the gap
Ø
is
decreased and force
F
causing inclination is increased. Unscrewing the regulation bolt will cause
increase of the gap
Ø
and decrease the force F inclining the blade.
For precise regulation of the gap there is the set of regulation rods delivered together with
the
plow (
). The set consists of two pcs with diameter: Ø6, Ø8, Ø10 and Ø12. Regulation is shown
and is done:
❑
unblocking the nut of roller mechanism,
❑
preliminary gap’s regulation
Ø
by screwing regulation bolt (screwing – increasing the gap
Ø
,
unscrewing – decreasing the gap
Ø
),
❑
putting proper pair of regulation rods into gaps between the rollers of mechanism and its housing
(under both regulating rollers),
❑
ligot pressing of regulation rods to housing through screwing regulation bolts,
❑
taking off regulation rods,
❑
blocking regulation bolt with the nut
.
ATTENTION:
Before each operation adjustment of roller mechanism must be controlled.
Backlashes doming into being during maintenance of the plow may cause
the
change gap’s value
Ø
.
Roller mechanism is equipped with replaceable steel tracks. In case of excessive wear of the tracks
they must be replaced with new ones by unscrewing mounting bolts (
).

ATTENTION:
Before each operation the wear of the tracks must be controlled. Too big force
having effect on the blade may cause distortion of the tracks and then
considerable increase of force inclining the blade with adjustments
