11 Sterilization
All items detailed in this document, with the exception of the eCLS, are provided sterile and
are for single use only. None of these items should be re-sterilized or reused. Sterilization
method is Ethylene Oxide.
DO NOT STERILIZE the eCLS. The eCLS is an external system component that does not
require sterilization. The eCLS should be cleaned regularly as detailed in Section 13
Maintenance of the Evoke™ eCLS.
12 Patient ID Card
Every CLS is supplied with a Patient ID Card for the clinician to complete.
• The clinician will give the Patient ID Card to the patient so that they can use it to
show other medical practitioners or security personnel that they have an active
implanted medical device
13 Maintenance of the Evoke™ eCLS
The eCLS is designed to be used for multiple patients and so should be cleaned thoroughly
between patients. The eCLS can be cleaned with a soft cloth dampened with a mild
disinfectant or alcohol.
