OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1.  Uncoil the cable completely.
2.  Check if the grill plates are clean and dust-free. if necessary, wipe them with a damp cloth.
3.  Place the appliance on a flat, level surface.
4.  Connect the plug into the power socket and the cooking surface begins pre-heating.The red and

green lamp will be illuminated at the same time. As soon as the cooking surface has reached
the pre-set temperature (usually it will take about 2-3 minutes), the green lamp will switch off,
the appliance is ready for cooking.

5.  Open the appliance, put a thin layer of oil on the grilling platesand then place your food on the

lower plate.Deep-frozen food should be completely defrosted prior to grilling.

6.  To open the sandwich press to 180 degrees, simply pull the pin to make use of both grill plates.
7.  Close the appliance - at this time, the green lamp will be illuminated again. During use, the

indicator lamp will be on and off due to automatic temperature control.

8.  During the cooking process, excess fat will flow through the drain holes into the drip tray.
9.  After cooking, open the appliance to remove your food with a wooden or plastic spatula. Do not

use metal utensils in order to avoid scratching the non-stick surface.

10. After use, remove plug and open the upper lid to allow the appliance to cool.

CAUTION

1.  As the difference of food type and thickness or taste, the cooking time is about 5-8 minutes.
2.  When using the sandwich press for the first time, heat the appliance without any food for about

ten minutes. There may be slight smoke or smell. This is normal and harmless.

3.  During the operating process, the red lamp will always be on.
4.  In the case of too much food being loaded on the appliance and it cannot be closed, never

close it with undue force as this could damage the appliance. Generally, the thickness of food
should not exceed 50 mm.

5.  Never use a sharp fork or knife to remove the food on the grill plates as this would damage the

non-stick coating of cooking surface. Use heat-resistant wood or plastic utensils only.

6.  Always unplug the appliance from the power socket when not in use.
