10. The Slicer can be operated continuously for 5 minutes after which it should be
turned off and allowed to cool.
11. Unplug when not in use.
12. For safety reasons, always reset the Adjustable Guide to the "O" position after
use.
HELPFUL HINTS
1. Do not slice anything containing bones, large seeds or other extremely hard
materials.
2. Remove all wrapping material from food before slicing.
3. Do not attempt to override the safety system or slice without using both the
Platform and Pusher.
4. Remove thick rind from slab of bacon before slicing.
5. Slicing sticky cheese may be made easier by first unplugging the Slicer,
removing and moistening Blade with warm water.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1. Unplug and clean Slicer after each use.
2. Remove Food Pusher and Platform from Slicer
3. Remove Blade Cover by pressing upwards and pulling tab out.
4. Remove the Adjustable Guide by turning the Thickness Knob clockwise until
the Guide is released.
5. To remove the folding Table turn the small Locking Knob counterclockwise
until the line is in the "O" position.
6. The Folding Table, the Guide, the Platform the Pusher and the Blade Cover
may be washed in warm soapy water. Do not wash in dishwasher.
7. Wipe the Blade with a damp cloth. Occasionally, clean the back of the Blade.
To do so, remove the Blade by burning the hub clockwise as far as it will go
and pull out. CAUTION: The Blade is very sharp. Handle with care.
8. Wipe the unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse in water or other liquids.
Make sure all parts are dry before re-assembling and storing the Slicer.
9. Re-assemble the Slicer, omitting the Platform and the Pusher.
10. Place the Tray into the space provided under the Table, fold the Table and
store the Slicer, Pusher and Platform separately.
