INCIDENT
8.1 PUMP WILL NOT
START

CAUSE
a) Interruption to the main
supply, short circuit :
b) Fuses faulty :
c) Clock timer set ?
d) Foreign body in the
impeller :
e) Motor blocked, e.g. by
deposits from the water
circuit :
a) Motor grinds, e.g. due to
deposits from the water
circuit :
b) Dry running, insufficient
water :
REMÈDIES
a) Check the supply voltage (observe type plate information).
b) Check electrical fuses.
c) Check settings.
d) Remove the motor and clean the impeller.
e) - Disconnect the electrical connection.
- Release the union nut (
FIG. 2 - item 4
),
remove the motor and impeller and restore movement to
the impeller by rotating and flushing out any dirt.
a) Refer to "Motor blocked" above.
b) Check the shut-off devices, which must be open fully.
8. OPERATING TROUBLE
Switch the circulator OFF before doing any
work on it
