8. PROBLEMS, CAUSES AND REMEDIES
7. MAINTENANCE
The system must be switched off for all maintenance and
repair work and secured against unauthorised operation.
If the switchgear is used in sewage lifting systems, maintenance must
be carried out by qualified personnel according to EN 12056-4.
The maintenance intervals must not exceed :
- 3 months for commercial operations.
- 6 months for units in apartment building.
- 1 year for units in single houses.
- Perform visual inspection of the electrical part.
- The operator is responsible for ensuring that inspection and assem-
bly are carried out by authorised and qualified personnel who have
studied the operating instructions closely.
