5.1 Troubleshooting
5.1.1 Instrument Condition and Solution
Before requesting repair, check the condition by following the table below.
If the problem persists or the applicable condition is not listed, contact the
Sakura instrument distributor or representative.
Instrument condition Check Solution
The instrument does
not operate. Power switch is OFF. Turn on the power switch.
The power plug is removed. Connect the power plug to an electrical outlet.
Power is not supplied. Check the breaker, etc., on the facility side.
The circuit protector was triggered. If abnormal current flows through the instrument, the
circuit protector in the power switch operates and
the power switch turns off automatically. Turn on the
power switch again. If the problem is repeated after the
power switch is turned back on, the instrument may
be faulty. Contact the Sakura instrument distributor or
representative.
The “Cryo” button is
not displayed on the
Operation screen. The control cable is not connected. Connect the Cryo Module and Embedding Module
with the control cable.
The instrument is
covered with heavy
frost. Ambient humidity is high and/or setting
temp for the cold plate is too low. Defrost periodically. If the frost or ice on the cold plate
makes trouble on continuing the operation, stop the
temperature control of cooling for a while to melt the
frost or ice.
