Cleaning the outside of the printer with a satured smooth duster of neutral domestic detergent.

1- Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord.

2- Close the face-down tray.
+
3- Press the top cover release button and open the top cover.
+
4- Remove the toner cartridge and the drum cartridge.
+
5- Clean the rubber area of the paper feed roller with a soft cloth.
Caution -
The fusing unit inside the printer can become very hot during operation. Do not touch
the area to avoid injury.

6- Reinstall the drum cartridge and the toner cartridge (refer to paragraph Replacing
cartridges, page 6-2).

7- Close the top cover and press it down gently but firmly until it locks into place.
