Make the following connections:
• If your terminal is equipped with the PP30 PIN-pad accessory (see description in appendix), connect it to
port PIN PAD.
• Connect the jack H in the input " IN " of the EFTsmart (RJ-type connector)
• Connect telephone line C, equipped, if necessary, with a standardized telephone plug for the user country,
to telephone network D .
• If necessary, connect telephone A to telephone jack OUT of the EFTsmart terminal (RJ-type connector).
(Telephone A is not required for the terminal to operate).
• Connect cord G to power supply unit F, then to electrical outlet E .
Plugs C : TNV-3 circuit: Telephone Network Voltage, in compliance with safety standard EN 60950.
Plugs COM, PINPAD, USB, LAN (Ethernet) : Since these links are SELV (safety extra low voltage) circuits,
they MUST be interconnected to units which have interfaces powered by the same type of circuits.
Connecting is to be made when the terminal is off.
