In the lower buffer chamber, move bubbles from behind to the gel column, to the
electrode port.
Tilt the cassette at a slight angle, witht the elution port side up. Gently
tap the top of the cassette to dislodge bubbles from behind the gel column to below the
electrode port openings.

Remove adhesive strips from cassette.
With the cassette on the benchtop, place one
hand on the cassette, and hold it firmly. Grab the white tab of the tape and pull the strip
firmly and slowly until they are removed.

Remove buffer from the upper electrode buffer chambers
a.
For 3%, 2% or 1.5% gel cassettes, remove
80 μl.
b.
For 0.75% gel cassettes, remove
150
μl .
