Preparing a Cassette
1.
Remove the cassette from foil packaging.
Foil package is scored at one end to allow
tearing.
2.
Inspect the gel columns.
Inspect the cassette from the top and underneath. Look for
any obvious breakage in any of the gel columns.
3.
Dislodge bubbles from behind the elution modules.
Hold the cassettes sideways,
with the sample wells up, and gently tap the side of the cassette. Use the schematic
below as a guide.
