used worldwide for 45 years; there is practically no epidemiological or
evaluated other evidence in the specialist literature that

are based not only on the proven original
formula using selected, particularly pure basic substances from the
pharmaceutical, food and cosmetics industries, but also on the careful
design of the fluid with regard to storage stability and resistance to
process temperatures. The evaporation of

does not produce any critical degradation or pyrolysis prod-
ucts/carbonyls of any kind or relevant quantity.

GUARANTEE:
For 45 years, all
SAFEX

-FOG FLUID VARIETIES
consist
ex-
clusively
of non-toxic, highly pure and generally harmless to
health,
specially selected representatives of a group of
substances (polyols)
, which are also expressly permitted for
direct or indirect contact with humans. These are substances
which are used in pharmaceutics, cosmetics and food technol-
ogy and whose purity is listed in the
Deutsches Lebensmittel-,
Bedarfsgegenstände- und Futtermittelgesetzbuch
LFGB (Ger-
man Foodstuffs, Commodities and Animal Feed Code) and its
regulations for the above application. They also meet the re-
quirements of the German
DAB 10
, the
EuPharm
(European
Pharmacopoeia) and the US Pharmacopoeia
USP
respectively -
depending on where recorded.
In this respect, when used as fog fluid components, they meet
defined, very high purity requirements.
SAFEX
®
-FOG FLUID
does
not
contain
any dangerous sub-
stances
(not even < 1 %).
All ingredients and thus also the
SAFEX
®
-Fog Fluids
them-
selves are therefore
not hazardous substances
or danger-
ous mixtures in the terms of the ChemG (§ 3a), the
GefStoffV (§ 2
No. 1-4) or the EC Regulations 67/548/EEC or
1999/45/EC as well as the CLP regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008
or the Swiss poison law (poison-class-free product). They are
neither toxic nor harmful to health, nor are they CMR or SVHC
substances, nor do they
have any other hazard characteris-
tics
. They are also not dangerous goods in the sense of na-
tional or international transport regulations (ADR / RID / IMDG/
GGVSE / IATA-DGR / ICAO-TI etc.) and are therefore
not
sub-
ject to
any legal restrictions in application, storage and
transport!
Therefore, they are
not
mixtures registered by the CLP regula-
tion and are thus
not
subject to
the regulations for
corre-
sponding labelling
. For this reason the creation of a
safety
data sheet

-INSIDE-FOG FLUIDS
is
not obligatory!
They may
not
be provided with a
CE mark
or a corresponding
EU declaration of conformity
in the sense of the ProdSG or
the corresponding European directives either. Of course, they
are also not substances in the sense of the Explosives Act or
other hazardous substance legislation - not radioactive, not bio-
logically dangerous, etc.
From a toxicological point of view there is no objection for in-
door use. If used as intended, there is
no health risk
from the
fog generated
, which is
absolutely non-toxic:
The concentrations usually used are uncritical for healthy
young persons and adults even in repeated, prolonged use

due to the very low effectiveness and the particularly high puri-
ty of the ingredients. Intoxication or comparable health damage
is therefore excluded with usual and regular application. Also
allergic reactions are not to be expected; the fog has practical-
ly no allergenic potential.
The contact of the fog with equipment normally present on
stages and in places with public admittance such as hot spot-
lights, decoration materials, burning candles, etc. does
not
pose
any
danger
either, thermal or other decomposition does
not take place under normal practical conditions.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
Before applying it for the first time, it is to be verified if there are any transport
damages or obvious defaults! In these cases the supplier or, if need be, the
manufacturer is to be contacted.
Only those persons are permitted of the use who had read and also understood
these Operating Instructions and especially the Safety Instructions. The use is
also only permitted for the determined purpose!
In case of any alteration of the product not only the guarantee/ warranty
becomes void, but also the manufacturer’s liability! The same also applies to a
grossly abusive deviation from the instructions for use or from the
manufacturer’s intended use.
