Rack Mount
Use the following procedure to install the
RoadRecorder 7000 NVR in a standard 19 inch
(482.6 mm) equipment rack.
1.
Position the included rack mount
L-brackets on the side of the unit as shown
in the diagram at right.
The rack mount L-brackets may come
preinstalled.
2.
Secure the L-brackets with six provided
T15 security bit screws (three for each
bracket).
3.
Insert the RoadRecorder 7000 NVR
assembly into the rack and secure it with
compatible screws.
Flat Mount
Use the following procedure to install the
RoadRecorder 7000 NVR on an acceptable flat
surface.
1.
Position the included flat mount
L-brackets on the side of the unit as shown
in the diagram at right.
2.
Secure the L-brackets with eight provided T15 security
bit screws (four for each bracket).
3.
Secure the RoadRecorder 7000 NVR assembly to a
secure flat surface with appropriate fasteners.
NOTE: Refer to your rack manufacturer’s
documentation for information
regarding securing equipment and
compatible screws.
NOTE: Ensure that the front panel of
the RoadRecorder 7000 NVR remains
visible and accessible. Do not install the
RoadRecorder 7000 NVR in an area of
the vehicle cabin that could interfere
with the safe operation of the vehicle.
