Seat Using the Lap and
Shoulder Belts
Place Booster Seat in
Vehicle Forward-
Facing in the Back
Seat
Place booster seat in the
back seat,
flush against
the back of the vehicle
seat.

Buckle Lap and
Shoulder Belt
Lap belt should cross the
child’s thighs (not on the
stomach). The lap belt should
be under both armrests and
the shoulder belt should be
under the armrest closest to
the buckle as shown.
Place Child in Seat
Place the child’s bottom
flat against the booster
seat. The child’s upper
and lower back should be
flat against the vehicle
seat back. This will allow
the vehicle belt to be
properly tightened.
