Levelers
NOTE: Please make sure the wheels are
straight BEFORE extending the jacks or
leveling the coach.
Keep all persons away from the leveling system mechanism when operating the leveling
system, driving the vehicle, and/or when the vehicle is parked. Before using the leveling
system it is important to read this entire section of the manual, as well as the leveling
system manufacturer's manual included in your warranty packet.
The coach should be leveled at least once a month to keep the system in optimum operat-
ing condition.
The levelers operate hydraulically, with the power coming from a 12 VDC hydraulic
pump. To operate, the system must be in the
ON
position.
Before starting the leveling process, be sure to go outside the coach and check to ensure
the jacks have a clear path to the ground. Block the front tires.
If leveling on asphalt or soft ground, place pads under the jacks. Pads should be made of a
sturdy material such as wood or plastic and be at least 2x8x8 inches in size.
NOTE: The front tires should always be blocked when leveling the coach.
NOTE: If leveling on asphalt or soft ground, use pads under the jacks to increase
stability.
WARNING:
Never move the coach with the leveling jacks extended. This will cause
serious damage to the leveling system as well as the coach itself.
