Remove battery pack from your spotlight.
Note:
If the light begins to flash, the battery needs to
be recharged.
WARNING
Battery tools are always in operating condition.
Therefore, switch should always be in Off
position when not in use or when carrying at
your side.
BATTERY PROTECTION FEATURES
RYOBI 18 V lithium-ion batteries are designed with
features that protect the lithium-ion cells and maximise
battery life.
SWITCH TRIGGER
See Figure 2.
To turn the spotlight on, depress and hold the switch
trigger. To turn the spotlight off, release the switch trigger.
LOCK-ON BUTTON
See Figure 2.
Your spotlight is equipped with a lock-on feature which
conveniently enables continuous use over an extended
period of time.
To lock on:
Depress and hold the switch trigger.
Push in and hold the lock-on button.
Release the switch trigger.
Release the lock-on button.
To release lock:
Depress and release the switch trigger.
THERMOSTAT PROTECTION
Internal thermostat will shut off the unit if the unit becomes
too hot. The unit can be turned on again if it reaches a safe
operating temperature.
Release the switch trigger when the unit shuts off. It will
cool down and the thermostat will reset after a 10-minute
rest.
Note:
If the switch trigger is in lock-on position, the unit will
take several hours to cool. Make sure the switch trigger is
released for faster cooling.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING
The bulb is not intended to be repaired or
replaced by the customer. It should be repaired
or replaced at an Authorised Service Centre.
WARNING
When servicing, use only identical replacement
parts. Use of any other part may create a hazard
or cause product damage.
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most
plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of
commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use.
Use clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.
WARNING
Do not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline,
petroleum-based products, penetrating oils, etc.
come in contact with plastic parts.They contain
chemicals that can damage, weaken or destroy
plastic.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Recycle raw materials instead of disposing as
waste. The machine, accessories and
packaging should be sorted for environmental-
friendly recycling.
