a 40-hour work week shall not exceed the eight-hour time weighted
average of 5000 PPM (0.5% CO2).. The short-term exposure limit less
than 15 minutes is 30,000 ppm (3% CO
2
). In confined areas, it is
recommended to monitor carbon dioxide level due to carbon dioxide
accumulation.
Only CO
2
applies to this series of incubators. Introduction of flammable or
toxic gases can cause dangerous conditions. Do not introduce gases other
than CO
2
to the equipment.
The CO
2
cylinder connected to the incubator should be of industrial grade
with a purity of 99.5%.
Do not use any CO
2
cylinder with siphons. A siphon is designed to draw
CO
2
liquid from the cylinder, which can damage the pressure regulator.
Please consult your gas supplier to ensure that the CO
2
cylinder is not
equipped with any siphon.
The cylinder should be fixed to a wall or other fixed object to prevent it
from falling over.
A CO
2
twin-stage pressure regulator must be installed on the cylinder
outlet valve. The input pressure of the incubator is suggested to be
maintained between 1.0bar and 1.5bar to ensure the proper operation of the
CO
2
control system. When the pressure in the CO
2
cylinder falls, The CO
2
single-stage pressure regulator cannot maintain the pressure in the input
incubator at 1.0bar-1.5bar, so a two-stage regulator is suggested.
If CO
2
of higher purity (above 99.5%) is required in the incubator, a
stainless steel shelf should be installed on the pressure regulator and the
CO
2
of specified purity should be purchased from the gas supplier, and the
pressure regulator should also be correctly and safely connected to the
cylinder.
3.1.12 Reverse Door Swing
If side-by-side operations or changes to laboratory layout are necessary, you can
change the rotation direction of inside and outside doors in chamber. The
following steps describe how to change the rotation direction of chamber doors
from left to right. In order to facilitate the change to rotation direction of chamber
doors, screw holes have been prepared on the case. Necessary tools include a
cross screwdriver and a normal screwdriver. The entire operation process takes
about 30 minutes.
