SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using an electrical appliance, you should always take basic
safety measures. Always keep the following in mind:
• Read all instructions.
• Only plug the appliance into an earthed mains socket.
• Children should always be supervised to ensure they do not
play with the appliance.
• If the cord has been damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service representative or another authorised
person to avoid danger.

external timer or separate remote control system.
• The waffle iron is intended for use in the home or in household-
like environments, e.g. in the kitchenettes of hotel or motel
rooms, bed and breakfasts, shared cooking areas on campsites
and other environments where food preparation takes place.
• This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years and older,
people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or people with a lack of experience and knowledge, if they are
supervised or have been given instructions on how to use the
appliance safely and understand the hazards involved. Do not
allow children to play with this appliance. Cleaning and regular
user maintenance must not be carried out by children without
adult supervision.
• Store the appliance and power cord out of the reach of children
under 8 years of age.
• If you pass the appliance on to a third party, this manual must
accompany it.
• Improper use and handling may result in a defect in the appliance
and injury to the user.
• The appliance is not suitable for commercial or outdoor use.
