Music Choices on the Fly
You can make changes to your theme as you listen to your media server by using the
“Music” selection on the Home page.
Music
If you want to change the music your PMA has set to play within the selected theme,
use Music to make adjustments to your playlist. The PMA (if enabled) will watch what you
do and take your actions into account when making future music selections for you.
There are 13 criteria by which you can choose music: Genre, Artist Name, Album
Name, Song Title, Year, Internet Radio and Text Search. Also choose from Newest
Additions, Longest Since Played and Recently Played songs for the selected theme and
overall.
Genre
Looking for a particular type of music? Choose music by its genre – rock, jazz, new
age, etc. Genres are pre-assigned to songs and arrive attached to the song’s information
or metadata. You can search for a genre through the name entry field or choose from the
list. Once the genre is selected, you can choose to play it now or soon, or delete the
genre altogether. If you want to refine your selection, proceed to View Artists.
