If the moulded mains plug is unsuitable for the socket outlet in your home or is removed for any other reason, 
then the cut o

 plug must be disposed of  safely to prevent the hazard of electric shock. 

 

Mains (AC) Operation 

 

This appliance is designed to operate on 220-240V current only. Connecting to other pow er sources may damage the unit.   

The w ires in the mains lead on this appliance are coloured in  
accordance w ith the follow ing code: 
 

Green and Yellow = Earth 
Blue = Neutral 
Brow n = Live  

 

As the colours may not correspond w ith the markings  
identifying the terminals in your plug proceed as follow s. 
 

The green and yellow  w ire must be connected to the terminal   
in the plug w hich is marked w ith the letter E or w ith the earth (N 

 symbol 

 

 or coloured green and yellow . 

Neutral (L)

 

Live  

The blue w ire must be connected to the terminal marked N or coloured black.  

The brow n w ire must be connected to the terminal marked L or coloured red.
