BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME

To clean the inside of your coffeemaker, run two full brewing cycles using only water,

no coffee.
1.  Make sure your coffeemaker is plugged in.
2.  Fill the reservoir to the max mark.
3.  Place carafe onto the carafe plate.
4.  Press the

 button.

5.  Once the cycle is finished, discard water.

SET THE CLOCK

1.  Put the plug into the power outlet.
2.  Use the hr and min buttons to set the correct time.
•

The clock will retain its settings until the coffee maker is unplugged.

•

To change the time, press the

T

button. The time will flash. Use the hr and min

buttons to set the new time. If you don’t press either the hr or min buttons within
3 seconds, the coffee maker will revert to normal, and the current time will show.

FILLING

1.  Open the lid.

2.  Fill the reservoir with the exact amount of water required. Note that the brewing

process will use all of the water that you put in the reservoir.

3.  Make sure that the filter holder is pressed down all the way into position. It will

click when correctly installed.

4.  Put a #4 paper filter into the filter holder.

5.  Add ground coffee. We suggest 1 heaping tablespoon per cup.

6.  Close the lid.

7.  Replace the carafe on the hotplate.
