9. CHECKING THE SUPPLY OF LUBRICATING OIL TO
THE CHAIN
After starting the engine, run at medium speed and
see if the chain oil is scattered as shown in the
adjacent figure.
10. RULES OF USE
10.1 BEFORE EACH USE
Before you start working, read the "Safe Exploitation" section.
Always follow safety rules. The pruner should only be used to cut wood. It is forbidden to
cut other types of materials. Vibrations and recoil vary by material and the requirements
of safety indications would not be met. Do not use the pruner as a surface for lifting,
moving or cutting objects. It is not necessary to force the pruner to cut. Apply light
pressure while the engine is running at maximum acceleration. Accelerating the engine
with the chain caught in a cut can cause damage to the clutch system. When the pruner
chain is cut, do not try to remove it by force, but use a wooden wedge or a jack to open
the slot.
