11.7 OTHER COMPONENTS
Oil port
Dismount the guide bar and check that the lubrication port is
not clogged with oil.

Fuel filter
(a) Using a hook, remove the filter from the
hole.

(b) Disassemble the filter and wash with
petrol or replace it with a new one if
necessary.
• after removing the filter, use a pair of pliers
to hold the end of the supply hose.
• when assembling the filter, be careful not to
allow filter particles or dust to enter the supply
hose.
Oil tank
Using a hook, remove the oil filter through the
supply port and clean with petrol. When
inserting the filter back into the tank, be sure
to insert it through the front right corner. Also
clean the dirt from the tank.
(2) Oil filter
Spark plug
Clean the electrodes with a wire brush and
adjust the corresponding distance to 0.6-0.7 mm.
Front-rear shock absorbers
Replace them if the adherent part is cracked or if the
rubber part has cracks.
Muffler
Remove the front housing of the muffler and inspect the spark arrestor screen that is
provided with the chainsaw. Brush off carbon deposits. Replace it if it is damaged.
