Q7: Implementation of the Bonjure Protocol
[Scenario Description]
Apple TV------Switch------AP (iPad/iPhone is connected to the AP in wireless mode and the Bluetooth function is enabled.)
[Implementation Effect]
The screen of the iPad or iPhone can be projected onto Apple TV.
[Support on Ruijie Products]
1. In the Layer-2 forwarding environment, Apple TV is in the same network segment as the iPad/iPhone. The multicast
function (IGMP snooping) can be configured on the AC/fat AP directly so that the screen of the iPad or iPhone can be
projected onto Apple TV.
2. In the Layer-3 forwarding environment, Apple TV is in a different network segment from the iPad/iPhone. The multicast
function and the Bonjour protocol need to be configured on the AC/fat AP so that the screen of the iPad or iPhone can be
projected into Apple TV.
