Chapter 1. General Information
1.1. Introduction
PA-301 is a rugged tablet PC based on the TI
®
OMAP Platform
(OMAP4470) processor core architecture. This high-performance tablet
features a bright 7” LED-backlit LCD display and runs on Google
®
Android
®
operating system.
PA-301 has been engineered and tested to meet Military Standards for
Environmental Extremes (MIL STD 810G). The following features make it
exceptionally rugged, durable and ideal for the rigors of field work:


Complies with the highest rugged standards in the market

IP65: water- and dust-proof

MIL-STD-810G: temperature, thermal shocks, relative humidity,
