• MEMO key: The use of this pushbutton or its equivalent external
function recalls the highest level value and the most
negative correlation reading since the last time a
memory reset has been proceeded. Please keep
attention to the fact that memory accuracy can be
affected by interferenced signals (ESD- or Burst).
This may cause misreadings from the memory or
meter if you are using the instrument in an
interferenced environment. A specific measurement
of maximum level should be repeated if interference
is suspected.
• GAIN key: The use of this pushbutton or its equivalent external
function control boosts the input sensitivity
according to the measuring standard used (IEC/DIN
+20 dB, British, Nordic und d40 dB).
• RESET key: The use of this pushbutton or its equivalent external
function resets the memory.
• SHIFT key: The use of this pushbutton or its equivalent external
function gives access to a second level of functions.
The combination SHIFT + GAIN selects a permanent
input sensitivity boost.
Right handed bank of keys:
• MENU key: The use of this pushbutton or its equivalent external
function calls setup menus to adapt the Porta-
Monitor to the needs in your special area of
application.
• STATUS key: The use of this pushbutton or its equivalent external
function displays the status information embedded in
the incomming AES/EBU data stream.
• OPT1 key: The use of this pushbutton or its equivalent external
function can be predefined in the General menu. It
can either be disabled or used to toggle between
analog and digital input mode.
• OPT2 key: 1063n and 1064n versions only: The use of this
pushbutton or its equivalent external function can be
predefined in the General menu. It can either be
disabled or used to toggle between the routing pairs.
• RTA key: The use of this pushbutton or its equivalent external
function selects the real time analyzer mode.
• GONIO key: The use of this pushbutton or its equivalent external
function activates the vectorscope display mode.
