The RHS980 will draw a deep vacuum on the A/C
system for the time entered previously for Vacuum
Time. The time left will be displayed.
The vacuum leak test will begin if selected earlier. The
time left will be displayed.
The RHS980 will pause so that oil can be injected if oil
injection was selected previously. Check the oil drain
bottle to determine how much oil was removed from
the A/C system. Open valve on new oil bottle until
desired amount of oil has been drawn from the bottle.
Then close valve and press
START
key.
The RHS980 will purge air from the recovered
refrigerant if necessary. This process will be displayed.
The RHS980 will charge the amount of refrigerant set
previously into the A/C system. DO NOT BUMP OR
MOVE THE RHS980 DURING THIS PROCESS TO
AVOID AN INACCURATE CHARGE.
The automatic cycle is complete when the set amount
of refrigerant has been charged. The amount of
refrigerant recycled will be displayed. Empty the oil
drain bottle.
Use only new lubricant to replace the amount
removed during the recycling process. Used
lubricant should be discarded per applicable federal,
state and local requirements.
