1.

 

Check

 

to

that

 

your

 

subwoofer

 

is

 

set

 

to

 

the

 

“on”

 

or

 

“standby”

 

posi on.

 

 

 

2.

 

Inspect

 

the

 

power

 

cord.

 

Make

 

sure

 

it

 

is

 

securely

 

plugged

 

in

 

to

 

the

 

wall

 

outlet

 

and

 

subwoofer

 

and

 

that

 

it

 

has

 

not

 

been

 

damaged.

Be

 

sure

 

the

 

wall

 

outlet

 

is

 

ac ve.

 

 

4.

 

Your

Speedwoofer

 

10S’s

 

ampli

contains

 

a

 

removable

 

fuse

 

designed

 

to

 

protect

 

it

 

from

 

overhea ng,

 

short

 

circuits,

 

and

 

other

 

poten ally

 

damaging

 

occurrences.

 

This

 

fuse

 

should

 

be

 

checked

 

and

 

is

 

located

 

in

 

the

 

power

 

cord

 

socket

 

on

 

the

 

ampli

fi

er.

 

 

Make sure the Speedwoofer is unplugged from the AC when accessing the fuse.  

 

You

 

will

 

need

 

to

 

insert

 

a

 

fl

at-head

 

screwdriver

 

(or

 

appropriate

 

object)

 

in

 

the

 

horizontal

 

slot

 

located

 

on

 

the

 

power

 

cord

 

socket,

 

just

 

below

 

where

 

the

 

cord

 

plugs

 

in.

 

This

 

is

 

the

 

piece

 

that

 

contains

 

the

 

fuse.

 

 

Gently

 

pry

 

the

 

fuse

 

housing

 

open

 

un l

 

it

 

detaches.

 

Extract

 

the

 

housing

 

from

 

the

 

power

 

cord

 

socket,

 

remove

 

the

 

fuse

 

and

 

inspect

 

it.

 

If

 

the

 

wire

 

inside

 

the

 

cylinder

 

is

 

severed

 

or

 

displays

 

a

 

gap;

 

the

 

fuse

 

is

 

bad

 

and

 

needs

 

to

 

be

 

replaced.

 

Replace

 

with

 

exactly

 

the

 

same

 

value

 

fuse.

 

The

 

value

 

is

 

indicated

 

below

 

the

 

power

 

socket.

 

 

If

 

the

 

new

 

fuse

 

blows,

 

your

 

subwoofer

 

requires

 

service.
