RSL
Speedwoofer
10S
can
be
used
in
virtually
all
stereo
systems.
Depending
on
your
equipment,
there
are
di
ff
erent
op ons
for
hooking
up
your
Speedwoofer.
If Your Stereo Receiver Or Amplifer Has Pre
‐
ampli
fi
er
Outputs
Method #1
‐
Connec on Though The Speedwoofer 10S
This
method,
requires
2
pairs
of
RCA
cables.
One
pair
of
cables
is
connected
from
your
pream-
pli
fi
er
(or
receiver’s
pre-ampli
fi
er)
outputs
to
the
Speedwoofer’s
le
and
right
line
inputs.
Then
another
pair
is
connected
from
the
sub’s
le
and
right
line
outputs
to
your
power
ampli-
fi
er
(or
back
into
your
receiver’s
power
ampli
fi
er
inputs).
The
audio
signal
travels
from
your
pre-ampli
fi
er
through
the
subwoofer
giving
the
subwoofer
the
audio
it
needs
and
then
back
out
to
your
power
ampli
fi
er
and
to
your
speakers.
In
this
method,
the
Speedwoofer’s
internal
crossover
is
used
to
control
the
bass
of
the
subwoofer.
Set
the
Internal
Crossover
Bypass
to
Internal
Crossover
and
adjust
the
crossover
frequency.
You
can
also
use
the
method
below:
Method #2
‐
Connec on Using Y Adapters
In
this
method,
you
also
will
need
2
pairs
of
RCA
cables,
however
the
lengths
may
be
shorter.
You
will
also
need
2
Y
Adapters
that
split
the
audio
into
two
RCA
connec ons.
Connect
a
Y
adapter
to
le
pre-ampli
fi
er
output
and
the
other
Y
adapter
to
the
right
pre-ampli
fi
er
output.
Then
connect
one
pair
of
cables
from
the
le
and
right
pre-ampli
fi
er
outputs
to
the
Speed-
woofer’s
le
and
right
line
inputs.
The
other
pair
of
cables
connect
from
the
le
and
right
pre-
ampli
fi
er’s
outputs
to
the
power
ampli
fi
er’s
le
and
right
inputs.

As
in
the
fi
rst
method,
the
Speedwoofer’s
internal
crossover
is
used
to
control
the
bass
reproduc-
on
of
the
subwoofer.
Set
the
Internal
Crossover
Bypass
to
Internal
Crossover
and
adjust
the
crossover
frequency.
