CONTROL PANEL AND OPERATION
Your unit has been factory defaulted to the recommended bill counter setting and is set to Canadian
Counterfeit counting mode. Unless you want to change settings on the bill counter, you now are
ready to start using the bill counter. Please follow Quick Start Guide to begin (Page 4). To change
control panel settings and for advanced features, refer to below.
CF (Counterfeit Detection) – This unit is defaulted to the ideal setting to be used for detecting fake or
suspect bills when counting Canadian or USA banknotes.
During operation, if this unit detects an error due to one of these methods, the machine will stop
counting to allow for removal of the suspect bill and a descriptive error code will display. To resume
counting, press ‘ENTER/START’
Ultraviolet Counterfeit Detection (UV)
The Ultraviolet detector will look for suspect bills that use white or bleached paper.
Magnetic Counterfeit Detection (MG)
The Magnetic detector will look for the presence of magnetic components that are standard in
authentic bills.
Infrared Counterfeit Detection (IR)
The Infrared sensors detect double and half notes and verifies proper dimensional specifications
of banknotes
