Maintenance
Regular inspections and maintenance are essential
to ensure good function and high reliability of the
QuickChange quick coupler system.
Daily checks
At the beginning of the day.
• The indicator rod must be retracted.
• The quick coupler and the tool attachment must
be kept free of snow and ice in winter.
• As necessary, hose or wipe away sand, ice and
snow. This is especially important in winter as
these may freeze solid and caused damage to
piston rods, connections and other quick coupler
components.
At the end of the day
• Perform the checks described under At the
beginning of the day.
• Check that the protective cover is working as
intended.
• Check that there are no leaks.
• The quick coupler and the tool attachment must
be kept free of snow and ice in winter.
• As necessary, hose or wipe away sand, ice and
snow. This is especially important in winter as
these may freeze solid and caused damage to
piston rods, connections and other quick coupler
components.

Clean the quick connect fittings in the quick
coupler.
• Grease the locking cylinders and the side faces.
There are four grease nipples for this purpose.

Clean the tool’s quick connect fittings
Monthly inspections
A more thorough inspection must be carried out
monthly.
Check that there is no play in the locking cylinders.
• Check that are no cracks in the quick coupler or
the tool.
Faults detected during inspections must be
remedied right away so as not to impair tiltrotator
function and reliability.
