Move the workpiece ends toward each other by pulling
the control lever to the right and then set the pressure to
by turning the pressure adjustment valve (
item 7
) from
welding to alignment pressure and then lock the pressure
setting in place.
When the required remoulding height has been reached
you should reduce the relevant heating up pressure or
unlock the pressure locking function and then press the
button (”Continue“).
You must always ensure that the workpiece ends never
touch the heater.
Use the control lever (pulse) to move the pipes away from
each other after the respective heating up time has
expired. The ”Change over“ screen will be displayed
automatically.
Move the two tables independently until they are approx.
10 mm away from the heater.
The heater will return to the stop position at fast speed.
Now pull the control lever over to the right to move the
pipe ends back together. The ”Cooling down“ screen will
be displayed automatically.
The pressure will now be linearly increased up to the relevant
joining pressure and pressure locking must be activated. The
cooling down time is now running and the pressure must be
monitored and reset whenever necessary using the pressure
adjustment valve Weld (
Item 7
).
Unlock the pressure locking system when the default time
has been realised and then press the
button
(”Continue“).
The “Align machine” screen will be displayed after you
have pressed the
button (”Continue“).
Tighten the brass nut of the chuck and swing away. Open
the chuck, remove the pipe and then traverse the machine
parts away from one another. You can now start a new
work cycle.
ATTENTION! You must ensure that neither the
milling unit nor the heater is damaged when you
open the chuck (this will depend on the position
and angle of the chuck)!
