Safety instructions for the laser
Introduction
Read and understand the operating and safety instructions in this manual. Non-
observance can cause injuries and damage to property.
- Read this instruction manual carefully to ensure safe operation of the imager.
Store
instruction manual and imager together.
- Check that the imager is in good condition before every use.
If in doubt contact a
qualified person or the service centre listed on the back cover of this manual.
- Never use a damaged imager.
- Repairs may only be carried out at an authorised, qualified personnel. Ensure that
only original replacement parts are used.
This will not invalidate the warranty and
ensures continued safe operation of the imager.
- Never apply voltage to the device, this can cause damage to the device.
- Do not operate the device in explosive or flammable atmospheres.
- Use the device with care,
avoid jolts or other impacts. Never drop the device.
- Do not dismantle the device as this can cause damage.
- Store the appliance in a dry place and away from dust.
- Keep the device clear from water, dirt and dust.
- Clean the device with a soft, damp cloth using mild agents only.
Do not use abrasive
or chemical cleaning agents.
- Turn the device off and allow it to reach room temperature before exposing it to
variations in temperature.
Otherwise condensation can form, which under certain
circumstances can damage the device.
- Never point the laser at yourself, people or animals.
This is
a class 2 laser product according to EN 60825-1. It can blind or
dazzle people.
- A laser is not a toy and must be kept away from children.
Misuse can lead to irreversible visual impairment.
- Any adjustment which leads to an increase of the laser
power is forbidden.
The manufacturer cannot accept
any responsibility caused by failure to follow these safety
instructions.
