Frying pancakes, omelettes, tortillas, crepes

Set the two-sided plate with the flat side facing up on the heating base and pre-heat
the appliance
on position “HOT”
with the lid on, for approx. 5 to 10 minutes.
o
Gently pour some batter (pancake mix, eggs, tortilla etc.) on the frying plate, spread
it with the enclosed spreader or equivalent wooden or rubber utensil, and turn over
as needed.
o
After use, turn the knob
to “MIN” and let the multi
-roaster cool down.
NOTE: lightly grease the plate before cooking the first pancake.
CAUTION: never use metal spatula or cutlery as these may damage the non-stick coating
of the frying plate.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
o
Turn the temperature control knob to “MIN”
, unplug the appliance and allow it to
cool down before cleaning.
o
DO NOT immerse the heating base into water!
o
Wipe off the body of the appliance, the plate and the pan with a damp cloth and mild
detergent. Do not use anything harsh or abrasive cleaners or tools that can scratch
or damage the non-stick coating of the plate.
o
Grease the two-sided plate with a little vegetable oil after use to preserve its non-
stick coating.
o
Regularly check the power cord hose for wear and damage, particularly where it en-
ters the product as well as the plug.
o
Store the multi-roaster in a cool and dry place.

For proper disposal, please return device to a retailer, a service agent or Rotel AG.

European Directive 2012/19/EC concerning Waste Electrical and Electronic Equip-
ment (WEEE) states that household appliances should not be disposed of using the
normal solid urban waste cycle. Exhausted appliances should be collected separately
to optimise the cost of re-using and recycling materials comprising the machine,
while preventing potential damage to public health and the environment. The
crossed-out wheeled bin symbol appears on all products to remind owners of the
obligations regarding separate waste collection. Owners should contact their local
authorities or appliance dealers for further information concerning the correct dis-
posal of household appliances.
