ROTAID
SOLID PLUS HEAT
PLEASE NOTE:
Only a certified
company or electrician should
install the cabinet because
of an electrical installation.
The heating is not ready
for use yet!
1.
Determine the location
where you wish to mount the
Rotaid. Make sure there are no
irregularities present at the desired
location. Please take the fire safety
and evacuation regulations into
account. If mounted on a stone
or concrete wall, please use the
wall anchors prior to fixation.
To ensure the defibrillator
stays within its operational
temperature range during the
whole year, the Rotaid should be
located in the shade at all times.
2.
Use the paper mould to mark
the holes for mounting the back
plate, 4 in total. Please also mark
the additional hole to house
the power cable.
3.
On the bottom-left of the back
plate an eye is located. Use an awl
or screwdriver to puncture
the sealing plug. Run the whole
cable of the heating element
through the hole.
Do not attach the heating
element to the back plate yet!
4.
Attach the back plate by using
the four long screws. Next, attach
the heating device on the back
plate, by using the four small
screws and rings. You will find
pre-drilled holes in the plate.
When correctly placed, the control
unit on the heating device is at
the bottom left side of the plate.
5.
With the back plate fixed to
the wall, now use an Allen key
(5mm) to firmly attach the nylon
belt to the back plate.
6.
After attaching the cover
and belt, now please use both
long bolts to find the perfect
position for you AED. Please make
sure the bolts are firmly screwed
into the block. Place the AED via
the bolts by using its bag’s handle.
The backside of the bag should be
placed as close as possible
or against to the heating element.
7.
You can now place the AED into
the cabinet by using its handle or
carrying case handle. Please rotate
the cover on the back plate by
starting slightly counterclockwise
and rotate to the left until the
cover reaches the stop.
When correctly placed, the hook
on the bottom of the cabinet falls
through the cover.
