User Interfaces
The following interfaces are available for control and monitoring of your DSS-8224.
DashBoard Control System
DashBoard Control System enables you to monitor and control openGear frames and cards from a computer.
DashBoard communicates with other cards in the frame through the Network Controller card.

Card-edge Control and Monitoring
The card-edge provides jumpers for configuring DSS-8224 and LEDs for monitoring the status of the input and
output signals.

SNMP Monitoring and Control
The Network Controller card in the openGear frame provides optional support for remote monitoring and control of
your frame and openGear cards using Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), which is compatible with
many third-party monitoring and control tools.
