B.1  How to Identify the CPU(s) Already Installed in Your Machine:

At the OBP “

ok

” prompt, enter the following:

A message similar to the following is returned:

MBus: 40 MHz

SBus: 20 MHz

CPU # 0: 125 MHz  RT620 / RT625

CPU # 1: 125 MHz  RT620 / RT625

CPU # 2: 125 MHz  RT620 / RT625

CPU # 3: 125 MHz  RT620 / RT625

This returned message is an example only. It corresponds to a quad-processor configuration running at a
CPU speed of 125 MHz. The actual message you receive depends on the CPU(s) that your system is running.

Note:  Boot PROM revisions 2.22.1H (SPARCstation 10, 20), 2.14.3H (SPARCserver 600) and later will also
display information regarding the external cache size of the CPU.
