Connecting the cables

Local unit to CPU cabling
Use standard HD15MM cables to connect the primary and secondary video
outputs from the video card to the local unit’s HD15F connectors. A type A
to Type B USB cable connects from the computer to the units Type A
connector. Connect a primary and secondary monitor to the HD15F
connectors for local viewing of both video signals. For local access to the
computer, connect a USB keyboard and USB mouse to any available USB
port on the computer.
Remote Unit to KVM Station cabling
The USB keyboard and USB mouse connect directly to the CrystalView Plus
USB remote unit. The primary and secondary video monitors also connect
directly to the unit.
Serial/audio models
For the serial/audio models, connect the serial DB9M port on the CPU to the
DB9F serial connector on the CrystalView Plus USB using a DB9F to DB9M
serial cable.
The line out of the CPU’s sound card connects to the Line in port on the
CrystalView Plus USB. The line in connects to the CrystalView Plus USB
line out port.
Connect to the remote unit a pair of stereo speakers to the line out port, a
microphone to the line in port, and a compatible serial device to the DB9
connector.
