6.2
Power On/Off
6.2.1
Auto Power On
The output voltage at the docking connector TSMA6/6B and AUX1 / AUX2 is
automatically switched on if any of the following conditions is fulfilled:
●
Fully charged batteries are inserted in the empty battery bays and no external
DC power supply is connected.
●
External DC power supply is connected with no batterie(s) inserted
6.2.2
Standby / Power On/Off
In host-controlled mode (R&S
TSMA6/6B connected), the R&S
TSMA6B-BP can
be switched to standby mode by pressing the power off button the
R&S
TSMA6/6B.
In standby mode, the output voltages on the R&S
TSMA6/6B connector and the
AUX connectors are switched off. Only the standby voltage for the
R&S
TSMA6/6B is provided.
In standalone mode, there is no possibility to power off the output voltages of the
R&S
TSMA6B-BP.
To power on a R&S
TSMA6B-BP from standby mode again, following options are
available:
●
R&S
TSMA6/6B connected:
Press the power button the R&S
TSMA6/6B.
●
R&S
TSMA6/6B removed:
Disconnect the DC input power and the batteries for a short time and connect
them again.
6.3
Battery Charging
During operation with external power supply, the batteries are automatically
charged.
