Charging starts automatically when DC power is connected. For checking the
charging state, see 

Chapter 6.5.2, "Rear Panel LEDs"

on page 33.

Charging with an external battery charger (optional accessory)

The external recharging of the batteries is only allowed via the following
charger types:

●

R&S TSMA6-BC4, 4-bay charger

●

R&S TSMA-BC2, 2-bay charger

To check, if the batteries are fully charged, refer to 

Chapter 6.5.1, "Battery Charge

Display"

Then insert the batteries into the R&S
