Opening and Closing the Casing
Some tasks described in this manual require an opening of the
system’s casing and the closing of it afterwards once the
intended work is finished.
Both tasks will be explained in this section:

Opening the Casing
This work instructions guides you through the process of opening
the casing.
Perform the following steps:
1.
Shut down the system as described in section “Shutting
Down the System” on page 50.
2.
Disconnect all power cords from the system.
High Voltage
The system you are working on operates
with voltages that can be hazardous to your
health.
Never work on the system or access
its interior with the power cable(s) be-
ing plugged in.
Make sure the power supply is dis-
connected from the components you
intend to work on
.
System Damage
The system must be operated only with the
chassis’ cover installed to ensure proper
cooling.
