Safety advices for using the appliance

Caution: Hazard of injury! 

•  Before replacing accessories or accessories parts that are 

  moving during operation, the device must be switched off and 

  disconnected from the power socket!

•  When disassembling, assembling or cleaning do not reach into 

  the sharp blades of the 4-bladed special cutter! Only touch the 

  blades at the top of the shaft!

•  Handle the special cutter with care to avoid injuries!

•  The appliance has a delayed motor stop after it has been 

  switched off. Therefore only remove motor unit and working 

  cover after complete standstill!

• The appliance is not suitable for processing deep-frozen or too hard foods.

• Do not operate the appliance outdoors or near sources of heat (oven, gas flame 

etc.) or in explosive environments, where inflammable liquids or gases are 

located.

• Place the base unit and the special cutter beyond children’s reach.

• Always unplug the appliance from the power socket if it is not supervised and 

prior to assembly, disassembly, cleaning or non-use.

• During operation, do not stir in glass bowl with objects and never reach into the 

running special cutter. To avoid injuries it is imperative to keep away your hair, 

hands and clothes from the running appliance.

• Avoid any no-load operation. Do not handle the appliance with wet hands!

• Never immerse the appliance, the power cord and the plug into water for 

cleaning.

• Do not store the appliance outside or in wet rooms. 

• Use original accessory parts only. 

• Pull the power plug after each use for safe switch-off. 

Prior to initial use

For a start, please clean the appliance as well as all accessory parts. For more detailed information please refer to 
chapter “Cleaning and maintenance”.

Integrated safety system

The appliance is equipped with a safety system. A micro switch ensures that the appliance does only function, if 
the motor unit is correctly placed on the working cover. Additionally, a spring mechanism on the motor coupling 
protects against improper operation. This and the observance of this instruction manual, ensure a safe operation.
