3. Refilling food during operation

Attention: Hazard of injury! Never touch the running blades 
- do also not stir in the jug with a spoon or other objects!

•  The small filling hole in the lid allows for refilling food during operation.
•  To do so switch the appliance to level “1”.
•  Remove the small lid.
•  Insert the food through the filling hole bit by bit (observe the maximum filling quantity!). You may use 

the small lid as measuring cup.

•  Replace the small lid again and lock it.
•  Increase the speed to level “2” again if necessary.

In case ingredients stick inside the glass jug, switch the appliance off and disconnect the plug from the 
mains. Then remove the ingredients from the wall of the jug using a dough scraper or another suitable tool.

Cleaning and maintenance 

• Always unplug the appliance before cleaning! 
• Never immerse base unit, power cord and plug in water or 

clean them under running water!

• Attention: Hazard of injury! Do not touch the blades! 

Handle cutting tools with care to avoid injuries!

Quick cleaning during work

•  For a swift cleaning of the jug and the blade between several blending runs, the pulse function can be used. 
•  Fill some water and a drop of dishwashing detergent into the empty jug and close the lid firmly.
•  Activate the pulse function for cleaning. Please also observe the instructions under the point “Operating 

the appliance”.

•  Then pour out the wash water and rinse the jug with clear water.

Thorough cleaning after work

•  Clean the appliance immediately after use so that residues will not dry up.
•  Highly pigmented food (e. g. carrots) may stain the appliance’s plastic parts or accessories. Wipe those 

parts with some cooking oil before cleaning them.

•  Glass jug and blender jug without blade unit are dishwasher proof.
•  Remove all detachable parts from the base unit.
•  Clean the base unit with a moist cloth and wipe it dry.
•  Clean all other parts in hot water with some dishwashing detergent or in the dishwasher if they are 

dishwasher proof.

Switching off completely

•  Turn the rotary knob to position “0”. The appliance is in standby mode now.
•  Pull the mains plug for a complete switch off.
