Safety advices on the usage of the appliance
WARNING: Hazard of injury!
• During operation, do not use any object to stir in the glass
jar and never touch the running blade.
• To avoid injuries it is imperative to keep your hair, hands
and clothes away from the running blade!
• The appliance has a delayed motor stop after it has been
switched off; therefore please wait until it has stopped be-
fore removing the lid!
• Ensure a proper fitting of the lid. Only work with a firmly
closed lid.
• The jug MB 08/G is made of glass and thus, it is fragile.
Handle it with care to avoid breakage of glass and splinters!
• Process liquids with care. They may splash!
• There´s a danger of burning when processing hot liquids!
• Hot liquids with temperatures of more than 60 °C must not
be processed!
• Place the appliance on a stable and even surface and do not operate it in
the vicinity of sources of heat (oven, gas flame etc.) or in explosive
environments where inflammable liquids or gases are located.
• Before switching on the appliance ensure that:
° the appliance is assembled correctly. This applies in particular to the
rubber gasket which must be placed correctly between blade unit and
glass jug or blender jug.
° the blade unit is tightly screwed together with the jug.
° the lid is firmly placed and the small lid is attached when using the glass jug.
• In order to avoid spilling over, the glass jug may be filled with max. 0.6 l.
This applies in particular when working in the high speed modus.
• When processing hot (max. 60 °C) and foaming liquids, fill the jug up to
max. 0.5 l to avoid spilling over.
• In case the blade is blocked, switch off the appliance immediately and pull the
power plug. Take the jug from the basic appliance before removing the blockage.
