Step 6:
Place a vessel below the outlet of
the portafilter.
Step 5:
Position the portafilter without filter
insert at the marking of the brew
head and lock it by turning it to the
right as far as it will go.
Step 7:
Choose the function
“espresso/hot water”.
Step 8:
Switch the appliance on.
The appliance heats up and the
temperature pilot lamp glows red
permanently.
When the lamp exinguishes, the
appliance is ready for use. The
operation pilot lamp glows blue
permanently.
Step 9:
Start the descaling process. Turn the
rotary knob to the left. Dispense 1/3
of the decalcifier.
Step 11:
Switch the appliance off.
Wait for 8 – 10 minutes
so that
the decalcifier can soak.
Step 10:
Stop the descaling process.
Turn the rotary knob to the top.
NOTE: The appliance carries excess
water back into the water tank via a
recirculation system!
Step 12:
Repeat step 7 – 11
twice.
Check the collecting vessel regularly,
empty it if necessary.
Step 13:
Place a collecting vessel below the
outlet of the hot water/steam nozzle.
Step 14:
Choose the function
“espresso/hot water”.
Step 15:
Switch the appliance on.
The appliance heats up and the
temperature pilot lamp glows red
permanently.
When the lamp exinguishes, the
appliance is ready for use. The
operation pilot lamp glows blue
permanently.
Step 16:
Start the descaling process. Turn the
rotary knob to the right. Dispense
decalcifier for 15 seconds.
