4.2 – makIng a coffEE: 3 PrEDEfInED VolumEs aVaIlablE

Place a cup on the cup support.

Open the coffee pod packaging ( remove the foil ) and take the pod out.

Insert the pod into the machine ( Top cover [1] )

Press a coffee button: expresso, coffee or long coffee [4].

The coffee cycle stops automatically at the end of the cycle or may be stopped manually by 

pressing the selected button.

Once the coffee pod is infused, it is ejected automatically and drops into the Waste Pod Bin [5]. 

The machine is then ready to make a new coffee.

4.3 – hot Water

Place a cup on the cup support then press the hot water button. The hot water cycle stops 

automatically at the end of the cycle or may be stopped manually by pressing the hot water button.

4.4 – eco Mode

After 15 minutes of inactivity, the machine turns automatically into Eco Mode ( “Eco Mode” 

message displayed ). If user wants to brew a new coffee, he has to press one of the buttons, 

machine will then display “heating” as long as normal temperature for coffee infusion won’t be 

reached. Once machine is hot, “Select your drink” message is displayed.

5 – Machine alarMs – trouBle shots

The machine has various sensors to provide a maximum level of safety and to make the machine 

as easy as possible to use.

The following messages are likely to appear.

5.1 – lEVEl 1 ( rEsolVE bEforE startIng a coffEE cyclE )

5.1.1 – Fill WAter 

Fill the water tank 

The fault disappears automatically when the machine’s sensor detects a water level that 

corresponds to the high level.

5.1.2 – WAter tAnk Missing

Put back the water tank in place

The fault disappears automatically when the machine’s sensor detects that the Water tank is 

present.

5.1.3 – eMpty WAste pod bin

Empty the contents of the waste pod bin into the bin then put it back on the machine ( 3 seconds 

needed with Waste Pod Bin out of the machine to cancel Waste Pod Bin alarm on display ).

When the Waste pod bin is back in place, the machine will erase the fault automatically.

5.1.4 – WAste pod bin Missing

Put the pod bin back on the machine.

When the pod bin is back in place, the machine will erase the fault automatically.

5.1.5 – close top cover 

Close the Top Cover [1].

The machine will erase the fault automatically when the Upper cover is correctly closed again.

5.1.6 – pod probleM, open top cover

Coffee pod missing or wrong coffee pod color / Pod inserted too early or jammed

Open Top Cover [1], remove coffee pod if necessary, and close Top Cover [1]. Put a correct coffee 

pod in the Top Cover [1] then select the cycle you want ( short espresso, long espresso or long 

coffee )

5.2 – lEVEl 2 ( tEmPorary alarm mEssagEs )

5.2.1 –

 

Descaling neeDeD ( 

displayed until the descaling cycle is performed )

Depending on machine’s configuration, this message may be displayed after a preset value of 

water volume used by the machine.

5.2.2 –

 ( displayed until the cleaning cycle is performed )

water volume used by the machine.
