Turning the Power On and Off

 

If there is no UPS or other external backup power system

 

Connect “AC INPUT A” and “AC INPUT B” to ordinary power outlets. (Although 
you can connect just “AC INPUT A” or “AC INPUT B,” connecting both is 
recommended for improved reliability of the S-4000-SP).

 

If a UPS or other external backup power system separate 
from the ordinary power supply is available

 

Connect “AC INPUT A” to an ordinary power outlet.

Connect “AC INPUT B” to the external backup power supply.

Use the following procedure to secure the power plugs.

Insert the power cord into the AC INPUT on the rear panel.

Lower the power cord clamp to secure the power cord plug.
