
• Make sure that the power cord does
not come into contact with the shutter
curtain or other moving parts of the
equipment.
• For the electrical connection, a power
connection with 230 V/50 Hz and an
on-site disconnecting device (fuse)
must be permanently available at the
installation site.
• Attach permanently mounted control
devices in a visible position.
• Both rated torque and rated operating
time of the driven motor must be com-
patible with the characteristics of the
driven equipment.
• Proper operation of the equipment is
only guaranteed if it is properly ins-
talled, assembled, supplied with suffici-
ent power and maintained.
• Secure the plant against unauthorized
operation. Take safety precautions
against unintentional switch-on.
• Before working on the system, discon-
nect all connecting lines to be installed
from the power supply and secure
them against unintentional reconnec-
tion.
• Remove all lines that are not required.
Set all devices that are not required for
actuation with the motor out of opera-
tion.

• Use the device (timer) only for connec-
tion to roller shutter, awning and blind
motors.
• Deactivate the automatic opening and
closing function in case of snowfall,
icing or danger of frost to avoid dama-
ge to the motor or the driven system.
• Only use original components and ac-
cessories from the manufacturer.
• Instruct all persons in the safe use of
the device.
• Watch the moving equipment (roller
shutter, awning, blind) and keep peo-
ple away from it until the movement is
finished.
• Prohibit children from playing with the
device (timer).
• Carry out all cleaning work on the roller
shutter, awning or blind in a de-ener-
gized state.
• Use caution when operating the open/
extended system as parts may fall if
fasteners (e.g. springs) weaken or are
broken.
