In order to be able to connect a wire to terminal of high power channels 9 to 16, the
terminal’s metal spring must first be pushed far enough, using a flat-head screwdriver,
to clear the opening that will take the wire. To do so the screwdriver must be placed in
the upper square opening of the terminal. The metal spring can be pressed down by a
light lever action and the screwdriver pushed into the terminal as far as it will go.

The wire to be mounted is now inserted into the exposed lower opening. To establish a
good connection the wire must be free of its insulation by a length of about 9 mm. After
removing the screwdriver from the upper opening the metal spring will spring back and
clamp the inserted wire firmly and form a good connection with low contract resistance.
